“The Australian Government recognises this negative impact and invests strategically in improved management where it is in the national interest. Nationally important research to develop innovative control solutions for established pest animals and weeds, together with activities that increase the delivery, uptake and use of ‘farm-ready’ control tools, are a key priority, with farmers and land managers in need of more effective approaches to reduce their impacts.” (Dept of Agriculture, Water and the Environment Guidelines, 2020)
